I have placed a deposit on a new rental in Jersey City. Coincidentally, fellow Oak Street cast member "other Ian" independently made a similar decision within hours. He will be located a mere 9 blocks to the north.

Jersey fucking City? Why didn't you just move to Astoria? Nicer, Cheaper, closer to Manhattan, etc.
Sadly I still work in suburban New Jersey, and therefor anything to the east of Manhattan would require driving through the city to get there.
And I'll probably also have to disagree about astoria being "nicer". I'm sure its lovely, but downtown Jersey city is beautiful, and relatively inexpensive. Most people think of Journal Square when they think of Jersey city. Don't. That's not what its about.
