Speaking of Fridays and MoMA, I hear admission will be free on Friday evenings from 4 until 8. Still, the $20 entrance fee is wiggity-wack. Certainly one of the best things about taking art history courses at Rutgers was hearing the professors encourage the students to be really, really stingy at the Met ("Seriously, you only have to pay a nickel!"). I'm not sure what that says about art historians' link to the public's support of art, but surely some sort of noteworthy point is to be made regarding the matter (just not by me).
Oh, and Ian? I don't care what day of the week it is--repeating previous posts (to fill some kind of unspoken but nevertheless self-imposed posts-per-day quota, no doubt) is just lame.
