Eight years before he was set to expire, 1976, corporate copyrights were extended to 75 years. Hmm, Interesting. Steamboat Willy was then set to expire in 2003. But don't start making Steamboat Willy Dolls just yet! 1998, Congress extends corporate copyrights to 95. Steamboat is safe until 2025!!!
